A Scene from Nowhere

Somewhere, someone is waiting for something… tick, tock, tick, tock.

Someone speaks.

SOMEONE: Something will turn up sometime. This can’t last forever. Something has got to happen at some point, sometime soon. Nothing ever happens when I want it to. The minute I really need something to happen, nothing happens at all. This always happens to me.

I’ve been waiting for IT to happen my whole god damn life. Why does something happen for some people but not for me? What am I doing wrong? I don’t get it. I just don’t get it.

It’s happened to him. And I head it happened to her too. And then there’s them that it has always happened for… you know the ones. The ones who were not even waiting for anything, and bingo! It’s there, right there for them and they didn’t even need to do anything.

Where’s the justice in that? They don’t even wait here like I do, they don’t even look and the something I so desperately want turns up for them.

It’s always the same. Nothing changes. Nothing ever will.

Tick, tock, tick, tock…

Someone plugs in his earphones, puts his music on shuffle and walks back home, his mind busy with the thoughts of what he can do.

Nothing Arrives.

SOMEONE  is busy.

Someone-Else is waiting for nothing… and Someone-Else smiles.

If you’re not busy this Sunday March 22nd between 4pm and 6pm, nothing is happening here:
